Dargah of Nizam-U-Din Awliya

(725-636 AH) Sultan Al-Mashahe is one of the saints.  They are remembered by the title of 'Mehboob-e-Ilahi'.  You have another title Shams-ul-Mulk which was given by Ghias-ud-Din Bulbin.  The name is Mohammad and the lineage goes back to Hazrat Ali.  His family migrated from Bukhara to Lahore, then his grandfather Khawaja Ali and grandfather Khawaja Arab went to Badaun with their families.  There he was born on  27 Safar 636 AH.  At the age of five, he lost his paternal affection.  So he was brought up by his mother Majida.  At the same time, he recited Qaduri from Maulana Ala-UD-Din Asuli.  After that, he finished the Holy Quran and started reading books.  At the age of sixteen, he became a disciple of Maulana Shamsuddin, who accompanied his mother Majida.  Here they read the forty points of Hariri. He recited a hadith from Maulana Kamal-ud-Din a pious elder from Delhi.  It is said that besides Maulana Kamal, he also read the hadith from Maulana Ahmad Tabrizi, who gave the sanad. After tehsil hadith, various celebrities came to know the principles of jurisprudence, commentary, geometry and form etc. He reached pakpattan to meet Baba farid Ganj Shakar. At that time he was twenty two years old. Baba farid appointed himself his caliph on the first day.

He stayed with him till 15 Rajab 656 AH and 3 Rabi-ul-awal 656 AH.  His greatness and godliness had brought about a universal moral and Islamic revolution in the whole country.  People would swear allegiance to you in droves, numbering in the hundreds every day.  Sultan Waqt who was your disciple. He Abolished usury and hoarding and enforced shariah rules.  After that Qutbuddin had a one-sided enmity with you.  Among his many students are Amir Khosrow, Rafi-ud-Din Haroon, Syed Hussain Kirmani, the Syed mohammad imam and Amir Hassan Sanjri.  Fawad Al-fawad, fasal-ul-fawad, Rahat-al-mahjeen and Syed Al-Awlia you have four books. First of all, the benefits of fawad-ul-fawaed were compiled by your caliph Khawaja hassan sanjari in which the hearing was repeated.
