Hzarat Abu BAkar Siddique (R.A)

Jalil-ul-Qadr sahabi, the first caliph, gave his name as Abdullah, surname as Abu bakar and titled Siddique(R.A). Your father's name was Usman and surname was Abu kahafa. Mother's name was Salma and surname was Umm-ul-hair. He belonged to Tamim, a branch of the Quraysh tribe. In the age of ignorance, the name of Hazrat Abu Bakr was Abdul Kabah, which was changed by the Holy Prophet to Abdullah.
The status of Hazrat Abu Bakar is very high among the Companions because he was with the Messenger of God at the time of his migration to Madinah, therefore he is also called Yarghar. Besides, he was also the head of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) because Imam Ayesha was his daughter. When the Holy Prophet (PBUH) announced his prophethood, Abu Bakar was the first of the men to believe a hundred verses. In the year 8 AH, on the occasion of the conquest of Mecca, when Holy Prophet entered every city, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq was also riding with him on camel named QASWA.
The Holy Prophet appointed him Ameer of hajj on 9AH. After the demise of the Holy Prophet, the Muslim Ummah appointed Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq as its caliph.
He said in his sermon:
"O people, I have been made your ruler, but I am not better than you. If I do good, then help me in it, and if I do evil, then I have faith in you." Betrayal is your strong man in my eyes. Unless I give him his due, your strong man is weak in my eyes until I take away from him what he is responsible for."
The caliphate of Hazrat Abu Bakr century lasted from 632 to 634 AD. The following events took place during your caliphate.
(1) He put an end to sedition by waging war against the apostates.
(2) He suppressed the deniers of Zakat.
(3) He defeated the claimants of prophethood by mobilizing.
(4) During his caliphate, the Muslims invaded Iraq and defeated many Iranian rulers and captured many places such as Haira, Anbar and Faraz.
(5) The Islamic army won the war by going to Syria.
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq passed away on 23rd August 634 AH (22 Jamadi Al-AKhar 13 AH). Your funeral prayer was offered by Hazrat Umar. He was buried on the left side of the Holy Prophet. Hazrat Abu Bakr performed four marriages in total. The names of his wives were
*Qateela bint Abdul Aza
*Umm Roman bint Amir bin Umairah
*Asma bint Umays and Habib bint Kharaja
He had three sons and three daughters. The sons were named Abdul Rehman, Abdullah, Mohammad while the three daughters were Asma, Ayesha and Ume Kulsoom.
