Hazrat Ali is one of the most important and great personalities in Islamic history.  As well as being one of the most beloved companions of the Holy Prophet, he was also a cousin of Holy prophet ï·º.  You also got the great status of being the son-in-law of the Holy Prophet ï·º when the Holy Prophet ï·º gave you the hand of his beloved daughter Hazrat Fatima in marriage. The importance of Hazrat Ali in the history of Islam was further enhanced when he was honored to be the fourth caliph of Islam. 

Early life: 


Hazrat Ali was the son of Hazrat Abu Talib who played a very important role in the life of Holy Prophet ï·º.  After the death of his mother and grandfather, Hazrat Abu Talib took care of him.  Later he took the responsibility of Hazrat Ali, who was two years younger than him.  Thus Hazrat Ali now spent his childhood under the Holy Prophet ï·º

Hazrat Ali was only ten years old when he started the roots of Islam.  When the ungodly people of Arabia opposed him and began to obstruct the path of Islam, Hazrat Ali supported the Prophet of Islam with strong faith in Allah.  He showed great bravery, courage and did not put it in his determined intentions.  In this way, Hazrat Ali became the first child to believe. 


Important events of Hazrat Ali's life: 

This great personality performed many remarkable deeds in his life which stunned the intellect of human beings.  The following are some of the events of Hazrat Ali's life which prove his greatness and greatness even today.  

(1) When you were migrating to the religion, your blood thirsty and mortal enemies surrounded your house.  That night Hazrat Ali slept in his bed so that the enemies would know that the Holy Prophet was in the same house.  In this way he risked his life to save the life of the Holy Prophet.  Furthermore, you will also be given the responsibility of returning the trust of the people of Makkah, which you did very well. Hazrat Ali did not migrate to Makkah until he returned all the trusts. In the way, you carried out your duty with your life on the palm of your hand among the angry disbelievers of Makkah.

(2) Hazrat Ali recited in the life of the Holy Prophet  The great deeds of his unparalleled bravery in all the wars of Islam have become a beacon for the Muslim Ummah to the living world of money. While fighting in the way of Allah, he did not turn his back.  He was awarded the title of Asadullah, which means Allah's lion.

(3) During the reign of Usman's when the revolt intensified the enemies besieged Usman's house and stopped the delivery of his food and drink. In such a situation Hazrat Ali sent food and drink to the beleaguered family of Hazrat Usman through his sons. Thus, against the wishes of the angry rebels, Hazrat Ali endangered the lives of the great sons of islam and delivered food and drink to the house of Hazrat Usman.

The great status of Hazrat Ali in Islam:

You have made such great sacrifices in the night that in the history of  Islam is not found and thus you are a strong expression of a very high position in Islam.  Due to his very close relationship with the Prophet of Islam, his prestige increased even more.  He was also honored to continue the lineage of the Prophet of Islam for his two sons and one daughter, Hazrat Imam HassanHazrat Imam Hussain and Hazrat Zainab.  

 The Holy Prophet appreciated your vast knowledge and wisdom as your saying is: 

             "I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its door"  

The Holy Prophet ï·º described the glory of Hazrat Ali ï·º in these words:

"One the hypocrite will not love Hazrat Ali and a believer will never hate Hazrat Ali"

Hazrat Ali as Caliph of Islam: 

You expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of Hazrat Usman Ghani at the hands of rebels and enemies. when the miscreants you to accept the responsibility of the Government , you refused to do so. You accepted this responsibility only with the consent of the people.  People considered you worthy to hold the great position of Khilafah.  Hazrat Ali conducted the system of government in accordance with the principles of Islam and in the light of the Sunnah of the Prophet.  Even before his caliphate, the Ummah was divided into anti-Muslim sects.  

Hazrat Ali struggled hard to solve this long standing problem.  However, the situation worsened and a large number of people became your enemies.  In 40 AH, one of your mortal enemies attacked you while you were praying in the mosque of the delegation.  He was severely injured and a few days later he succumbed to his injuries and went to Khaliq Haqiqi.  Thus, the caliphs of Islam, after holding the office of caliphate for four years, passed away.  

Hazrat Ali has lit a great torch for the guidance of future generations of human beings through the essence of his intelligence and high-ranking character.  He did a lot in the cause of pure water and in his own life he received the glad tidings of heaven and became one of the ten evangelists.  All over the Islamic world, Hazrat Ali is remembered with great politeness and respect and people try to be a successful person by learning from his example and personality.

    Beautifully written though its a bit too lengthy but an interesting read!
