His knowledge was very wide and he also took part in jihad regularly. Whenever Noor u din went at Mosil, He always meets to Sheikh Umar(R.A).
The light was spread in the room. According to the decree of the Islamic State, he had performed Nawafil after Isha prayers and now after reciting Zikr and selling blessings on the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he ran and lay down on the bed to rest. It was their custom to wake up for a few hours of sleep. After a few seconds, sleep had taken him in its arms. The hair on his wide-foreheaded red and white bookish face was calm and content, but everyone who was in awe of him was amazed by its awe and crescent.
Shortly after, he sat up in a panic. His beautiful face was very restless and his big black eyes were full of tears. He used to recite Istighfar again and again and cry and say, No one can bother my lord and master while i am alive. In front of their eyes, the scene of this dream was repeated again and again. The young men had just seen before the donations that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was saying in front of them and he was pointing at the two person, he said two men are harassing me to put an end to their evil.
Now he did not even have peace because Holy Prophet (PBUH) had remembered him. He immediately took a few companions with him to prepare for the journey and left Damascus to Madinah. Not only his companions but every one who lived in Damascus wondered what could be the reason for this trip.
It is mentioned in 557 G. 1162. It is about eight hundred years old, that that time the journey from Damascus to Madinah took twenty to thirty days but the ruler of Islamic state did not allowed to his companions to rest on the way. He traveled very fast and reached Madinah on sixteenth day.
He closed the door to the city of Madinah and announced that all the inhabitants of the city should dine with us today. The meal was arranged, but the ruler saw in the audience the two faces which he had seen in his dream and which he was pointing at. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed and said:
''Two person are harassing me''
He found out from the work of Madinah that there is a person who could not attend the meal because of which? The answer was that none of the citizens of Madinah is like that. However, there are two western pilgrims who have been here for a long time. They are always engaged in worship. If some time is left, they give water to the people in Janat al-Baqi. They have not meet to anyone.
The ruler said no, bring it here. We want to meet them. Both western pilgrims were brought. Seeing them, the dream disappeared in the eyes of the ruler. Both of them were the ones to whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) pointed and said, “Tell me. The ruler noticed that the two western pilgrims, regardless of their appearance, seemed to be worshippers. When asked, they said they had rented a house near Roza-e-Aqdas. There they are engaged in worship.
The ruler left the two pilgrims under the care of his subordinate and himself took six officers to the house where the two pilgrims were staying. Apparently there was no special thing to be pointed what was in the house just one mat, little accessories and two to three things of utensils . The ruler began to examine things Suddenly he was shaking When he removed the mat, he saw a wide cell and it seemed that the cell was not firmly attached to the floor. When the order of the ruler the cell was removed, there was a tunnel under the cell the ruler and the officers who came with him were astonished. Examination revealed that this tunnel used to go to the Holy Shrine of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Lightning flashed with rage on the ruler's face, and he quickly came back and ordered to the two pilgrims could be chained together. The order was carried out immediately, Ruler asked with anger from two pilgrims , who appeared to be dervishes.
Tell me the truth, Who are you?
Now the secret was revealed both the visitors had been identified in their original form. They both answered straight away:
We are Christians, and we have been commissioned by their people to carry the body of your Prophet. There is no greater reward for us than this, but the determination of the afflictions, when our work was very little left, you arrested us.
The ruler was not bear to hear anymore. The perpetrators had pleaded guilty. The ruler beheaded both the criminals and ordered that their bodies be dumped in the calf. The rulers wept after the two criminals were brought to justice. There were tears that flowed and among the countrymen they used to say that ''it was my good fortune that Prophet (PBUH) choose this slave for his service''.
An unholy conspiracy was over. It was necessary to close the door to such conspiracies forever. The ruler called an architect and instructed him to dig around the shrine of the Prophet (peace be upon him) so that water would come out and then he dug this trench was filled with molten lead.
A deep trench was dug around the holy shrine of Rehmat-e-Alam and then the molten lead was filled in it. The trench still exists around Roza Rasool today.
The great muslim ruler who had the privilege to be dreamed of Holy Prophet(PBUH) and then with the ordered of Prophet sent to Madinah to protect the Holy shrine of Prophet(PBUH) was NOOR UD DIN Zangi. The era of those who paved the way for the restoration of Jerusalem by inflicting successive defeats on the Crusaders' during their 28 year rule was undoubtedly the golden age of Islamic history. He managed the Islamic nation so well and as a God-fearing ruler, he managed the affairs of the state so well that the days of hilaft-e-Rashida were remembered.
